About
Craig Monteith & 74 Developers

Thirteen years of ground broken, not just rendered.
Craig Monteith founded 74 Developers in 2013 with a single subdivision in Manchester and a conviction that Jamaican real estate deserved the same operational discipline as any institutional developer — modelled feasibility, tracked permits, and progress you could actually verify, not just promise.
Since then the portfolio has grown across residential, mixed-use, industrial, and hospitality projects from Kingston to Negril to Montego Bay, run day-to-day on Velocity, the project management system 74 Developers built to hold itself accountable — which is also why every project on this site shows real, current status rather than a marketing snapshot from the day the site launched.
The approach hasn't changed: underwrite conservatively, document everything, and build things that are still standing — and still full — a decade later.

How we work
Three principles that don't move.
01
Verified, not vibes
Every project here is backed by the same permit, milestone, and ownership records used to raise capital and satisfy government portals — not marketing copy.
02
Mixed by design
Residential, commercial, industrial, and hospitality — diversified deliberately, so no single market cycle sinks the portfolio.
03
Community-first sites
Infrastructure, amenities, and shared spaces are budgeted from day one, not value-engineered out at the end.
Have a site, or a stake, worth developing?
